"Every time somebody writes a letter they make design decisions"
During the first week of my Visual Design Module we were introduced the concept by which we can think of "visual design"
The programme on which we are going to work is called InDesign and at first sign it seemed to me as a very difficult one. I have never worked with it so it was a challenge. The key points of the lesion were related to font face and size, line-spacing, variety of headers etc. We started working on a business card but i didn't have enough time so i did it later in the university because i can't have InDesign on my laptop. I am pretty concerned about it but i hope i will be fine.
The image is the poster of a movie
called "The Great Gatsby". The font is serif, which is a reminder
that the movie is based on a classic novel. The multiple lines match the
geometric frames in the background.
In the two circles above and under the name are written the initials
of the central character- Jay Gatsby.
The chosen colours resemble gold and silver and imply the big fortune of the
central character.
The image consists of a series of typed words, that suggest the shape of
Tower Bridge. The font is Sans Serif, which implies the contemporary feeling of
the picture. The colours are designed to match the colouring of the landmark.
